Stengel, Johann Bassoon

There is 1 original Johann Samuel Stengel (1771-1826) bassoon in the Hichwa-Rachor database. He first worked as a bone turner [Horndrechsler], then in 1805 established his firm Bayreuth as a woodwind instrument maker.  He was known to make flutes in ebony and silver. His son also was named Johann Samuel and was also a woodwind instrument maker.
