There is 1 Carlo Palanca (1688/90-1783) original bassoon in the Hichwa-Rachor database. He worked in Torino from 1719 to 1783 and was a bassoonist in the Royal Capel of Torino. He was a colleague of the famous Besozzi oboist brothers, with whom as maker, he was closely associated. According to Young, besides oboes and bassoons, he also made flutes and recorders. His bassoons exhibit fine craftsmanship.
