There are 2 original Johann Poerschmann (1680-1757) bassoons and 1 copy based on a Johann Poerschmann bassoon in the Hichwa-Rachor database. He flourished in Leipzig from a1708 to his death in 1757. He trained two important bassoon makers who are a part of this database: August Grenser and Jakob Grundmann.
