The Hichwa-Rachor database contains one original bassoon of the firm Sautermeister & Müller. The firm flourished in Lyon from 1830. Louis Müller worked for his uncle François Sautermeister, whom he succeeded in 1830. The firm was sold to Cousin in 1867.
