Koch, Stephan Bassoon

The Hichwa-Rachor database contains one original bassoon of Stephan Koch senior (1772-1828). He flourished in Wien, c.1807 to p.1828, and established the workshop of the Koch family in Wien that was active between c.1807 and p.1866. Koch senior collaborated with the flutist Georg Bayr and the oboist Josef Sellner and trained I. Ziegler senior, who also worked in Wien.
