The Hichwa-Rachor database contains one original bassoon of Richard Bilton. He flourished in London from 1826 to 1856. Before setting up his own workshop, he apprenticed with John Cramer and later worked with Thomas Key. In 1826, he was listed as a maker of flutes, flageolet, and bassoons.
