The Hichwa-Rachor database contains one original bassoon of Karl Friedrich Adler (Neukirchen 1795-Erlangen 1888). He flourished in Bamberg from 1819. He was trained by his father, Georg Adler, and later in Wein with Rorarius and in München with Stiegler. In 1820, Karl Friedrich Adler was granted a brass and woodwind instrument maker license.
